Coastal and Civil Projects, FPL St. Lucie Power Plant, St. Lucie County, FL
Coastal Waterways has been contracted by FPL to provide coastal and civil engineering services at the Florida Power & Light (FPL) Port St. Lucie Power Plant. Coastal Waterways staff is prepared to provide assistance on a number of projects including design, engineering and testing of a sealife excluder located at the velocity cap of the offshore intake, solutions for dune and beach erosion prevention, and site observation of canal reconstruction. In addition, Coastal Waterways staff will be available to provide onsite civil engineering services to supplement FPL engineering staff.
